Borealis will be in attendece at the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources workshop/discussion with regards to potential legislative and regulatory amendments to the Geothermal Resources Act.
CanGEA and it’s members were invited to participate in this discussion which will include representatives from industry and the Ministry. This is a great opportunity to be able to participate in the restructuring of the legislation and to assist in creating a legislative environment that can promote geothermal exploration and development in British Columbia.
Borealis is supportive of CanGEA as they submit recommendations on behalf of the industry as a whole. Input from geothermal developers and service providers will play an important part in modifying these regulations to expedite geothermal resource development in a fair and mutually beneficial system.
