Borealis is very pleased to have Dr. Alan Jessop and Dr. Hong Yang on our technical advisory board.
For decades, Dr. Jessop has been a leader in geothermal energy research in Canada. With over 30 years of experience with the Geological Survey of Canada and over 50 published documents in the field of heat flow, applied geothermics, and geothermal energy, Borealis is happy to have Dr. Jessop’s breadth of knowledge available for project development.
Dr. Hong Yang holds a BSc Geology and PhD Geology (Netherlands) and brings over 10 years of appraisal, production and planning and execution in the oil and gas industry. Her experience in the regulatory processes (land, well licensing, environmental approval) in Alberta and BC, and her skill at subsurface uncertainty and risk management will continue to be a major asset to Borealis GeoPower.
